Description
Feldspars are a group of aluminium tectosilicate minerals. The name Feldspar derives from the German word, “Feldspat”, a compound of the words Feld (“field”) and Spat (“flake”). Spat had long been used as the word for “a rock easily cleaved into flakes”.
