Aragonite is a common carbonate mineral and a polymorph of calcite. That means it has the same chemistry of calcite but has a different structure, symmetry and crystal shapes. It’s most famous crystal habit is the twinned pseudo-hexagonal prismatic crystals that it produces.
This unique Blue Aragonite piece is 3.5″ long by 2.5″ tall and is 2″ wide.
