Native Bismuth crystals are extremely rare. The world’s major source is Peru. The crystals seen here are grown in a laboratory. Scarce as silver, heavier than lead, a one cubic foot of Bismuth would weigh over 600 lbs. It is classified as a semi-precious metal.
